Black Opalescent Brooch

This is a very old pin probably from the early 1950's. Its construction is fabulous and complicated. Do click on the back photo and you will see what I mean when the pin is enlarged! Made from black modeled "stones" ( I think they are actually more like molded beads)and stunning opal colored navettes the shape of this piece is unusual. LOTS of wonderful AB coating here. It is clearly an unsigned designer piece.
